Are Ebooks in YOUR future?

Let's have a discussion about ebooks. Like them or not, I believe they are here to stay and within a short time, they will dominate the book market. What do you think?

  1. I still love the feel of a book in my hands, love to smell the paper and the ink. I like to dog ear pages and write in the margins.

I have three books out and so far, my print copies are outselling my Ebooks, though my Ebook sales for War Remains are gaining on the print editions.

What worries me about Ebooks is that ANYONE can now publish a book. There have been instances of folks writing "spam" Ebooks, which have flooded the market. Fortunately, sites like Smashwords has been able to suss out those folks.

  2. Yes. There will always be those who want success and riches without having to work for it and then there are the others who are just hopelessly crooked and despicable. Best wishes for your continued sales. eBooks are here to stay. To be a successful author these days you must embrace eBooks. They certainly do shift the paradigm from traditional publishers to the authors.
